Tour to Chichicastenango and Lake Atitlán for 2 Days

Tour of Lake Atitlán. 07:00 am you will have time to have breakfast at the hotel.

08:00 am we will pick you up at your hotel to take you with the rest of the group and thus start the tour. We will visit 3 towns around the lake, crossing the lake by boat.

SAN JUAN

They will visit a cooperative of women who are dedicated to the manufacture of textiles, later they will have a tour in an art gallery, being able to appreciate different paintings, they will also have a tour in a chocolate factory where they will be able to have a small chocolate tasting.

SAN PEDRO LA LAGUNA

A vibrant town with a unique mix of indigenous traditions and a relaxed atmosphere. San Pedro is famous for its impressive landscapes, its cobbled streets and its famous volcano.

SANTIAGO ATITLÁN

In this town you will be able to share and live with a family that is dedicated to religious syncretism (mixture of religions), later you visit a church or altar where San Simón (Mashimon) is and the guide will explain how and why the Mayan religion still prevails.

3:30 p.m. Tour ends. At the end of the tour, you will board the boat that will take you to Panajachel.

4:00 pm – 4:30 pm. The bus will leave Panajachel bound for La Antigua Guatemala, which will take you to your hotel. This journey lasts approximately two and a half hours, depending on traffic.
